What You'll Learn

checkLearn to identify the costly side of errors and accordingly make decisions.
checkSmartly define the audience of your experiment to reduce traffic requirements.
checkCarefully select metrics that can clearly show the impact of your change.

Each idea will be explored through a case study, helping you build the intuition to apply it to your own experiments.

This Webinar Is For You If

checkYour experiments often end without a result you feel confident acting on.
checkPast "winning" experiments haven't delivered the impact you expected.
checkYou want to make better experiment decisions without having to master statistical theory.
checkLimited traffic makes it difficult to run reliable tests.

The webinar is designed for people across product, marketing, data and growth who use experiments to make business decisions.

Hi, I am Ishan Goel, a statistician, educator and founder of Thinking Bell.

I previously led data science research at VWO, where I built VWO's Stats Engine.

Today, I teach experimentation statistics through analogies, simulations, games, doodles and real-world problems, making difficult statistical ideas intuitive and useful.

I have also taught experimentation and statistics to cross-functional teams across product, marketing and data, including a 60-person training programme at The Economist.

My goal is simple: help people reason confidently about experiments without turning them into statisticians.
